Experienced 2D Cartoon Animator Required (Brand Character Project) We're looking for an experienced 2D cartoon animator to help create a series of short, engaging animated videos featuring an existing cartoon character.
This is the beginning of a long-term project, and we're looking to build an ongoing relationship with the right creative freelancer or studio.
Initial Project
We require three separate animated cartoons, each approximately 30–45 seconds in length.
The videos should be fun, engaging, professionally animated and suitable for use across social media, websites and digital advertising.
Animation Style
We're looking for a clean, modern style similar to high-quality commercial character animation.
The animation should feel:
Friendly
Expressive
Polished
Memorable
Suitable for a broad audience
We're not looking for children's cartoons, but equally we don't want anything overly corporate or overly complicated.
Requirements
The successful freelancer should be able to:
Animate an existing character
Create expressive facial and body animation
Produce simple, attractive backgrounds where required
Incorporate smooth movement and transitions
Add suitable sound effects and music (or work alongside supplied audio)
Supply high-resolution finished videos
Supply editable source/project files
Future Work
This project is expected to grow into a long-term collaboration, including additional animated shorts, social media content, educational videos, seasonal campaigns and promotional material.
