Long-Term Short-Form Video Editor Needed for Social Media Content
I'm looking for a creative and reliable video editor for a long-term collaboration editing short-form social media content.
The content will focus on everyday experiences, lifestyle updates, opening trading card packs, receiving mail and packages, traveling for work, behind-the-scenes moments, and documenting the journey of opening a local trading card shop.
I'm looking for someone who can turn raw footage into engaging, natural, and entertaining content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
**What I'm Looking For**
- Experience editing short-form social media videos.
- Strong storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
- Ability to create engaging hooks and smooth cuts.
- Knowledge of captions, sound effects, music, and transitions.
- Creativity and the ability to make good editing decisions without needing detailed instructions for every video.
- Consistent quality, reliability, and good communication.
**How We'll Work Together**
We'll begin with a small test project to evaluate editing quality, creativity, communication, and whether we're a good fit to work together.
If the test goes well, I'm interested in building a long-term working relationship with the right editor, with opportunities for recurring video editing assignments.
To Apply
Please share 2–3 examples of short-form videos you've edited, preferably lifestyle, unboxing, collectibles, or personal-brand content.
Briefly describe your editing approach, your typical turnaround time, and your pricing for ongoing work.
I'm looking for someone who can become a reliable editing partner as the content grows over time.
