# AI Platform Requirements for a Children's Storybook Video Series
I am creating a children's YouTube series in a storybook animation style.
Each episode is approximately 3–5 minutes long and consists of multiple illustrated scenes featuring the same recurring characters.
I already create all of the following myself:
* Consistent character artwork
* Storyboards
* Scene-by-scene scripts
* Narration (voice-over)
* Character and environment designs
I am **not** looking for an AI that writes stories or creates characters.
Instead, I need an AI platform that can turn my existing illustrated scenes into animated video.
## My ideal workflow
For each episode, I want to upload:
* High-quality illustrations (PNG or JPG)
* My narration audio (MP3 or WAV)
* Or alternatively, a storyboard with narration
The AI should then:
1. Animate each illustration with smooth, cinematic movement.
2. Preserve the exact appearance of my recurring characters from scene to scene.
3. Add subtle natural movement, such as:
* blinking
* breathing
* hair or fur movement
* flowers moving in the breeze
* butterflies flying
* leaves moving
* gentle facial expressions
4. Automatically synchronize the scene timing with the narration.
5. Generate smooth transitions between scenes.
6. Produce a polished 16:9 YouTube video.
## What I do NOT need
I do not need:
* AI story writing
* AI image generation
* AI voice generation
* Talking avatars
* Lip-syncing
* AI presenters
The stories, illustrations and narration are already complete.
## My priorities
The platform should:
* Maintain character consistency across every episode.
* Produce a warm children's storybook style rather than realistic animation.
* Require as little manual editing as possible.
* Support episodes with multiple scenes.
* Be suitable for producing hundreds of future episodes using the same characters.
* Allow commercial use for YouTube monetization.
## Example project
Episode 1 contains approximately 20–30 illustrated scenes.
The workflow I want is:
Illustrations + Narration
↓
AI animates each scene
↓
AI assembles the scenes into one continuous episode
↓
Final YouTube-ready MP4 video.
My goal is to build a long-term children's storybook brand with recurring characters, where the AI acts as an animation assistant rather than a story creator.
