← All product designer jobsShape the experience millions of people will use to learn, and set the bar for what great looks like.
We have spent a decade helping developers build the skills that matter most through hands-on, practical learning. Now we're building something entirely new. Fenzo is a first-of-its-kind AI learning platform and the foundation for a growing portfolio of products built on top of it, from Courses and Books to Test Prep, and Flashcards, each generated and personalized in under a minute. The design decisions you make here will be felt by millions of learners.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a category before its conventions are set. You'll make strong design calls without waiting for permission, treat ambiguity as your opening to define something great, and push design quality further than it's been before, with the freedom to explore bold ideas at every step.
You'll also join a design team that's rethinking what design means in the age of AI, building AI-ready design systems and workflows, not just AI-themed products. This isn't design-as-usual with an AI feature bolted on; it's a chance to help define the discipline itself.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following areas:
Advocate relentlessly for the customer experience, obsessing over pain points until the product is more useful, enjoyable, and accessible.
Partner closely with product managers on customer feedback and roadmap, then work with engineering to bring designs to life.
Set design direction from user research and cross-team input, and take it from concept through wireframes to high-fidelity, tested prototypes.
Present and defend your design decisions to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Work within our design system, with the latitude to push it further as the product scales, and help define what “AI-ready” design means at Fenzo.
Constantly raise the bar on design qualitym bring ideas nobody asked for but everybody needed.
About you:
A track record of real design impact, whether that's a product you shaped solo, an experience you redesigned that moved real usage, or a system you scaled at a larger company. We care about what you drove, not how many years it took.
Proven range across the full design process: research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
A portfolio with real depth in both interaction and visual design, not just polish.
An eye for visual quality sharp enough to raise the bar for everyone around you.
Comfort collaborating across product, engineering, and leadership, and defending your rationale to any of them.
Genuine dissatisfaction with “good enough”, you're always pushing for better.
A design degree (VCD, UX, Fine Arts, Interaction Design, or CS/HCI) or equivalent experience.
