Part-Time Shopify Product Listing & Inventory Assistant
We are looking for a reliable Part-Time Shopify Product Listing & Inventory Assistant to support our e-commerce business.
Main Responsibilities
* Add and update products in Shopify
* Upload product images
* Enter product title, description, price, SKU and barcode
* Assign products to the correct collections/categories
* Add and update product tags
* Update inventory/stock quantities accurately
* Mark products as out of stock when required
* Check product information for errors before publishing
* Maintain accurate and organized product data
Requirements
* Previous experience with Shopify
* Good knowledge of product listing and inventory management
* Basic Excel/Google Sheets skills
* Good attention to detail
* Able to follow instructions and SOPs
* Reliable and responsive
* Good English communication
* Experience with e-commerce products is preferred
Workload & Budget
This is a part-time, ongoing position.
Monthly budget: up to USD $50
Expected workload: approximately 15–16 hours per month. Monthly budget is strictly limited to USD $50. Any work beyond the approved monthly hours must receive prior approval.
Important — Paid Test Task
Before selecting the final freelancer, we will provide a small paid test task.
The test will involve:
1. Creating a sample Shopify product listing
2. Formatting product information correctly
3. Uploading product images
4. Updating inventory based on a stock sheet
5. Following our instructions accurately
We will select the freelancer based on accuracy, attention to detail, Shopify knowledge and reliability — not simply the lowest price.
Long-Term Opportunity
If the selected freelancer performs well during the trial period, this can become a long-term monthly position.
