I am running a residential build and need an experienced billing engineer who is confident working entirely in Microsoft Excel. The immediate priority is to structure and generate clear, timely progress bills that reflect actual quantities, retainage, approved variations, and any advance recoveries. Once the project wraps, I will also rely on you to pull everything together for a clean final account that reconciles all prior claims, change orders, and payments into one definitive statement.
You will receive drawings, BOQ, work-in-place reports, and my current Excel files. From there, I expect you to:
• Create (or refine) dynamic, formula-driven spreadsheets that track quantities, percentages complete, and cash flow.
• Prepare each interim application for payment, ready for my signature and submission.
• Flag discrepancies or missing backup so we can resolve them before submission.
• At project close-out, compile the final account with supporting schedules and a concise summary for the client.
Acceptance will be based on accurate calculations, professional layout, and zero arithmetic or referencing errors inside the workbook. If you have a proven method for automating repetitive entries or producing dashboard-style summaries in Excel, let me know—that efficiency will be a plus.
